The Personal Webpage of William Hauser

Hello and thank you for visiting my website. I am currently a M.S. candidate at Stony Brook University in NY. In fact, I am seeking a dual degree in both Biomedical Engineering (BME) and Business Administration (MBA). In addition to being a full-time student, I work full-time as a Medical Technologist for ICON Central Laboratories (Farmingdale, NY) within the PCR department of the infectious disease laboratory. I am extremely interested in the intersections of the biological sciences and business, which are more numerable then one might originally think. Some of these areas include technology transfer, venture capital, entrepreneurship, patenting and intellectual property just to name a few, but there are many, many more. Our world has become extremely dependent on our continually developing technology and our quality of life has greatly improved as a result of the advancement of technology in the biomedical sciences. It is my personal goal to obtain a position that can grant me the opportunity to assist in the development, introduction, and production of new biomedical technology in order to create or improve its availability to those who need it.
