Welcome to my Homepage.
I am currently in the
Electrical
Engineering PhD program, having recently obtained my Masters in
Biomedical Engineering, from Stony
Brook University. I joined in Fall 2007. I did my undergraduate studies at the
Indian Institute of
Technology Kharagpur, Kharagpur, India in the Department of Electrical
Engineering and got my BTech (Honours) degree in July 2007 in the field
of Instrumentation engineering.
I have been interested in studies of Heart Rate Variability and
cardiovascular dynamics since my undergraduate days. Recently I have
developed an interest in stochastic modeling of various systems,
including biological systems. I am currently
working in
Prof.
Petar Djuric's lab (COSINE) in Electrical Engineering, SBU. In the
past I have worked with
Prof. Ki
Chon here at (BME, Stony Brook University),
Prof. S Banerjee and
Prof.
A. Mukherjee (EE, IIT Kharagpur) and also with
Prof. Niels Wessel
(University of Potsdam, Germany).
