I am a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Political Science at Stony brook University. My research interests center on emergence and evolution of social institutions. I am particularly interested in Evolutionary Game Theory and believe that development of evolutionary game models will help us understand the evolution of social institutions.

This is the approach I adopt in my dissertation titled  “ Advances in Public Good Provision Games: Towards a Behavioral Theory” which explores the psychological correlates of the behavior pattern called Altruistic Punishment. Altruistic Punishment refers to the willingness of human subjects to punish free riders in an public good provision game.

I teach several undergraduate and graduate level courses. For more information check my teaching page here.
