I am a PhD candidate at the Department of Political Science at Stony Brook University. My research mostly focuses on political values and culture.

In my dissertation entitled "The Political Culture of Individualism: Explaining Cross-National Differences in Redistribution", I test whether the individualism has an effect in explaining cross-national differences in popular support for redistribution, the size of government, and the generosity of welfare policies.

I also do research on electoral behavior, political parties and elections, as well as comparative political institutions. I am also interested in political methodology, and particularly the application of multilevel and measurement models to cross-national survey data.

I also teach several courses. For more information, please see my teaching page.
