Wireless Networks

To access this or any other webpage you are need a wired network commonly called ‘Local Area Network’ (LAN) , or a wireless network commonly called ‘Wireless Local Area Network’ (WLAN). A WLAN is the linking of multiple computers together using radio waves opposed to the old-fashioned way of cable. WLAN are on the rise due to electrontrical devices such as PDAs.
