The Health Preprofessional Honor Society
For all those who have been accepted, please provide your payment in the form of a check or money order (NO cash accepted) made out to: Alpha Epsilon Delta - NY Lambda Chapter. This fee is due no later than Monday, March 31st by 12:00PM to the Office of Undergraduate Academic Advising (Melville Library Rm. E2360).
"Alpha Epsilon Delta functions both as an honor society and service organization. We hope to encourage and recognize academic excellence among pre-health students and offer opportunities for intellectual and professional development. This network promotes communication between health professionals, pre-health students, and educators. Above all, Alpha Epsilon Delta stimulates an appreciation of the importance of pre-health education and provides a program of service to benefit the university community. "
AED is the largest nationally recognized health pre-professional honor society that was founded at the University of Alabama in 1926. Here at Stony Brook University, we will strive to help you as students prepare for professional school, provide community service, and create a social outlet for students with common interests. Students from all majors and backgrounds are invited to join our organization to further their understanding and interest in the health field.
